HD Hyundai Donates 5 Pieces Of Large Construction Equipment To Help Rebuild Ukraine

On the 14th , HD Hyundai signed a ‘business agreement related to the supply and training of construction equipment for the reconstruction of Ukraine’ with the Mykolaiv State government at the Korea-Ukraine Reconstruction Cooperation Forum held at the Hilton Hotel in Kiev, Ukraine. It was announced on the 15th that five major equipment from three companies were donated.
Key officials including Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport Won Hee-ryong, HD Hyundai Construction Equipment Division Vice President Jae-young Moon, and Mykolaiv Governor Vitaly Kim attended the event.
The construction equipment donated this time is five units, including a 30-ton crawler excavator from HD Hyundai Construction Equipment, a 21-ton wheel excavator from HD Hyundai Infracore, and an LPG forklift from HD Hyundai Site Solution, and will be used for emergency recovery in the damaged area of ??Mykolaiv Province.
Through this agreement, HD Hyundai agreed to cooperate in smoothly supplying construction equipment needed for Ukraine’s future reconstruction, and to train construction equipment experts and build infrastructure in Ukraine.
In order to quickly supply equipment and provide services, we plan to establish an equipment base (DEPOT) with local dealers in nearby Europe. In addition, we are operating various programs such as domestic invitation training to train experts, on-site training in major war-affected areas in Ukraine, and promoting the establishment of the Kiiu Basic Education Center, and are also contributing to the construction of various infrastructure.
Vice President Jaeyoung Moon said, “Starting with this cooperation, we hope to become the optimal partner for the reconstruction of Ukraine in various business areas in the future.”
