While not a new video, it's still fun to watch as we all do our best to enjoy the activities of summer. Click on YouTube source link to watch this action packed video of a group of construction workers who found an innovative way to use an excavator - turning it into water park.

A water ski rope was attached to the end of the arm which is used to propel the daring young men as their flung around the water way.

While one friend drove the machinery, spinning it in circles, the others took it in turns to wake board, skim board and even do some barefoot skiing.

The vision posted on YouTube by user CarlsCut was shot in Bunbury in Western Australia.

'We just had this great idea and wanted to test it out. None of us had done it before but we had a great time!,' said Carl Lindberg.

They took it slow to begin with while they were testing out the system but it didn't take long for the boys to get used to their newly invented toy and pick up the pace.

'No one hurt themselves which we were actually pretty surprised about, but obviously that's great!', said Carl.

One of the boys owns his own excavator and volunteered to drive it while the others took it in turns on the water.
